The 2020 commemoration will be dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the liberation of the former Gusen I, II & III complex of concentartion camps and to “Humanity without Borders” and will focus on the fact that human rights are no longer a national issue since the end or World War II.

Due to the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic this international commemoration can´t take place at Memorial Crematroium KZ Gusen like in the last 25 years. It will be held as an online-commemoration and will be broadcast with the help of Freies Radio Freistadt (FRF) in several free radio stations in Austria.

In addition, we also celebrate the 25th anniversiary of local-international commemorations at Gusen as joint cooperation between survivors, their organizations and families and people of the local population.
